Siwy We See You...And We Like it!
Siwy's Spring 2015 collection is Ah-May-Zing! When I hyphenate amazing, you know it's amazing. Why am I all giddy about it you ask? Because the collection is packed full of denim designed with details (I love alliterations).
Black and white stripes were everywhere last year, but who says that is the only color combination that works. Siwy went for red and white in a color scheme that's reminiscent of the American Flag ...or peppermint candy depending on how you look at it. Thick tuxedo stripes or inky acid washed finishes on boyfriend jeans are something your boyfriend would never wear, but it's a look that's perfect for us. There are also features like embossed details, pictorial prints, fray for days and other adornments throughout the collection.
That my friends is why it is amazing. Whereas I normally see a signature look permeate a brand resulting in quite a bit of sameness (I'm not saying that's a bad thing), Siwy makes it a point to shake it up with every look. You could have a whole closet stocked with this collection and it would seem as if you shopped a variety of boutiques. See what I mean..Ah-May-Zing!
