Denim on the Runway: Skirts and Dresses are Going to Be a LOT Less Generic #LFW #Fall2015

If the London shows were any indication, denim skirts and dresses are going to become a lot less generic this year.

Jeremy Scott's version of the denim dress for Moschino, with it's 3-dimensional five-pocket print, brought a whole new meaning to the term denim on denim. I think we should call it meta denim. Offering his own take on texture and surface was Ashish. Formerly known for those infamous half denim, half fleece jeans seen on Miley Cyrus, the designer played up the texture on a denim knee length skirt. For those of us more interested in the style of the garment as opposed to the treatments, Marques Almeida and Christopher Raeburn used more traditional denim fabrics in the amazing silhouettes.
