Asos's Spring of Denim and Velvet

 

A denim jacket with oversized satin cuffs, mens jeans with fringed hems, a t-shirt that is made of two distinct halves sewn together -that is just a taste of what Asos is offering in their extensive spring collection. 

Velvet made an appearance in the shape of blazers and trousers in the crushed textures of the '90s. It also turned up in a pair of over-the-knee boots. Every piece of denim, save one, had fringe -including a pair of mens jeans where the fray appeared on the hem. Fringe wasn't the only women's detail to make into menswear. Black tassel trailed down the arms of a mens jacket. Menswear or not, I expect women will be the primary wearers of this item, but it will be nice to see how the more adventurous of the male sex put a look together with this.

Rounding out the collection were colorful jacquard bomber jackets, matte sequined crop tops and an impressive shoe collection.
