Fornarina's Fall 2009 Ad Campaign Featuring Lindsay Lohan

Images from Lindsay Lohan's new ad campaign for Italian-brand Fornarina have been released and all we can say is ummm. The campaign itself is great but Lohan doesn't even look like herself. We're not saying she looks bad, quite the contrary. We're just used to seeing the greasy haired, freckle-faced, leggings-clad, sometime wacktress as...well..a greasy-haired, freckle-face, leggings-clad, sometimes wacktress. 

The campaign was shot in LA at Siren Studios and is supposed to represent " that part of herself as a popstar. The lead singer who speaks the electrical language of decibal and whose charm glows under the stage spotlights." Okay? 

If you want to emulate any of the looks in the campaign there is a special section on the Fornarina website called Lindsay Special that will help you do just that. 

Lucky Magazine's iPhone App Now Includes Denim

First it was handbags and shoes and now the Lucky At Your Service iPhone app includes a Denim Guide. Browse through different brands, washes and silhouettes, then find where you can purchase the pair of your choice. If you don't have an iPhone, this app alone is a solid reason to get one. 

 

Georgia May Jagger for Hudson Jeans

Georgia May Jagger, the 17 year old daughter of Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall, has just been announced as the new face of Hudson Jeans and the blogs and weeklies have been buzzing with the news. Jagger's modeling debut will feature her in such images as posing in ripped and bleached jeans in a shabby chic apartment, lounging on a rug in Hudson's lace-back jeans or wearing denim-cutoffs while lying on a pillow with a Union Jack. For the LA-based Hudson, Jagger's English and American lineage mirror the brand, which marries British Cool and California Freedom.

The images are part of the Fall ad campaign and were shot in London by acclaimed fashion photographer Mario Sorrenti and styled by Camilla Nickerson. So far this is the biggest campaign Hudson Jeans has done and is an indicator of the brand's desire to grow and expand.

Barney's + Keds + Loomstate

Barney's has just released this video promoting the most recent collaboration, among so many nowadays, between Loomstate and Keds. The partnership produced an exclusive organic collection, Keds x Loomstate, using the nostalgic brand's Champion style in five prints. Not only is the shoe organic, but the insoles are recycled, as well as the boxes they come in. 

The collection is only available at Barney's and proceeds will go to the Organic Exchange.

Denim Design Lab Site Re-Launch

California-based denim brand, Denim Design Lab, has just redesigned their website and it looks fantastic. The black and white photo filling the homepage is complete with antique accoutrements and matches the vintage aesthetic of the brand. Visit the site and have fun scrolling your mouse over the various items to see what's clickable. 

The website isn't the only relaunch coming from the brand. Denim Design Lab is also reintroducing DDL @ AmRag's "World Denim Bar" on August 1st at American Rag Cie in Los Angeles. To celebrate the launch they will take over a display window for the entire month of August.

Levi's "Go Forth" Campaign

Levi’s, as part of its Go Forth campaign, is asking consumers to submit videos, photos, text messages, and/or audio files on any subject that reflects today’s new pioneering America spirit. Alternatively, consumers can pick a task identified on the Web site and present their vision of how that task reflects America. 

Entries will be considered until August 31st and the top five submissions will be judged by a panel as well as an online public voting system. The lucky winners will be flown to San Francisco for a two night/three day stay and will have the opportunity to see their art displayed in the Levi's San Francisco Flagship store.

Acne Underwear AW09 Commercial Features Harry Potter's Freddie Stroma

The latest video causing a lot of buzz on the internet is an Acne Underwear commercial featuring Freddie Stroma of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince wearing items from the A/W 2009 collection. We could sit here and describe it, but its better if you just watch it for yourself. All we'll say is Freddie is good on the rings.
